Alliance Global Services, a premier global provider of Business Intelligence and Application Outsourcing solutions, today announced that it has once again successfully completed ISO 9001:2008 surveillance audit from Det Norske Verias (DNV), an accredited third-party registrar of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). DNV auditors have recommended the continuation of the ISO 9001:2008 certification. The recent audit scope covers AGS development site at Hyderabad, India under the ISO 9001:2008 certification. Also a CMM Level 5 accessed company, AGS has proven to be a recognized leader in providing industry-level quality and service.

This ISO 9001:2008 quality standard shows that AGS places greater accountability on both executive management involvement and measurable quality objectives. Through obtaining the ISO 9001 certification for eight consecutive years, Alliance has demonstrated its ability to consistently provide solutions that meets customer and applicable regulatory requirements. “AGS is dedicated to offering our clients consistent customer satisfaction and demonstrated value through our continued improvement processes,” said John Castleman, President and CEO of Alliance Global Services. “This achievement is a strong indicator of our commitment to delivering the highest quality software solutions to our clients worldwide.”

The ISO 9001:2008 standard is an international reference for quality management requirements and continuous improvement in business-to-business dealings. It is a generic standard that can be applied across all industries, regardless of the product or service delivered. The major challenges of 9001:2008 are the eight quality management principles that are the focus of the standard: customer focus; leadership; involvement of people; process approach; system approach to management; continual improvement; factual approach to decision-making; and mutually beneficial supplier relationships.
